The Northport Visitor Center is a volunteer, self-serve operation. Funding is provided by the Village of Northport and Leelanau Township.

If you're entering town from the south, take M-22 into Northport; it turns into Shabwasung at the traffic light. Turn right at the next traffic light (we only have two) onto Main. Go two blocks until Main veers left and becomes Bay which will become Rose.

Hours of Operation
The center is open daily from May through October. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day the building will typically be open from about 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Hours are somewhat shorter at other times but we usually open around 9 and close when it gets dark.
